Webinars

We have occasional Web Based Seminars (Webinars) on topics of major interest. They are usually on subscription only and held over the net at a convenient time (lunch time in UK). There is no limit on how many can participate although we are mindful of bandwidth limitations which can disrupt service. Webinars usually last for 60-90 minutes. Minimum System Requirements:

A standard internet enabled computer with sufficient graphics capability. Broadband connection.

 

We use Adobe Connect Pro or Cisco WebEx. Neither system requires any additional software installation. If you do not have a microphone and speakers/headset, you can use the toll free number to call for audio participation. Adobe uses Virtual Classroom technology and you can participate and even raise your hand (or disagree). You can make your comments private, or share with others. All interactions (including the whiteboard features and powerpoint slides) are recorded and downloadable for future use.
