Do you take insurance only?

No we are able to accept a variety of payment methods. Credit Cards, Checks, direct invoice and very rarely we would accept cash if no other payment means are available to the patient.

Can patients refer themselves?

At the moment we are not equipped to accept self referrals except in for suspected ADHD or ADD. Once you contact us, our experienced staff will explain if you need a referral from a professional or not.

Do you offer Counseling?

Most of psychiatric treatment incorporates a degree of counselling but we do not provide counselling only.

And Addictions?

We only see cases of Prsecribed Medicine and alcohol addictions. We Can offer out patient or inpatient Detox and Rehab but we do not at present take on Opiate (Heroin) or Cocaine addictions. We can refer you to a suitable consultant if you have any of these issues.

Can anyone know that I am in treatment?

Of course not. Your medical information belongs to you and you only. You chose who you want to share that with or not. Of course your referring professional will be kept informed and you chose how much or how little you want us to share.

Never?

Well, very few things in life can be answered with never. If in our professional opinion, sharing information with another person or body over your objections is necessary, we will do so but will try to engage you as much is possible in that decision. Usually this will be for extreme circumstances, such as to prevent harm to yourself or others, or in emergency involving your health when you may not be able to decide on whether to share information or not.

Can I pay in small sums over a period?

Unfortunately no. We are aware of people’s changing financial position and if you face difficulty in paying, we will expect you to discuss this with your doctor or therapist. Usually we can work something out.
